Laticrete 3701 Lite Mortar Rapid - Polymer Modified Mortar Bed has been formulated with carefully selected polymers, Portland cement and light weight aggregates. This produces a rapid curing and light weight mortar which can be used in a large variety of interior, exterior, vertical and overhead rendering applications. It also can be used as a mortar bed. This quick set mortar can be used in a large amount of projects, decreasing the wait time significantly, saving you time on the job. 3701 Lite Mortar R does not need a latex admixture and you will only need to add water to produce thick bed mortar or a vertical repair mortar / screed.
It's safe to use! It contains no respirable crystalline silica levels that exceed the OSHA action level*and weighs half the amount of a conventional thick bed mortar while retaining the same coverage.
