The Schluter DILEX-AHKA is a cove-shaped transition profile designed to create a clean, hygienic connection between tiled walls and previously finished floor surfaces. Made from durable anodized aluminum, this profile forms a smooth, 3/8" (10 mm) radius cove that helps prevent water penetration while minimizing dirt buildup, making maintenance and cleaning significantly easier.
Unlike traditional installations that rely on caulking, the DILEX-AHKA provides a long-lasting, maintenance-free solution that eliminates the need for sealant at floor-to-wall transitions. Its single trapezoid-perforated anchoring leg is embedded directly into the mortar bond coat of the wall tile, while the integrated dovetailed channel securely bonds to the finished floor surface, ensuring a stable and professional installation.
Designed for environments with strict hygiene standards, the DILEX-AHKA is ideal for commercial kitchens, bathrooms, food preparation areas, and other sanitary spaces where durability and cleanliness are essential. To ensure a seamless installation, the system also offers matching 90° and 135° inside and outside corners as well as end caps.
